I am a natural, instinctive leader. From an early age, I gravitated toward organizing and leading group efforts, a tendency that carried through my education and into my professional career. During my years in sales, I learned how to read resistance quickly—and more importantly, I learned that resistance is rarely defiance. More often, it is fear, and fear is usually rooted in a lack of understanding.
Over the past two decades, I have developed a strong ability to identify the true source of resistance and thoughtfully work through it by delivering knowledge in a way that feels collaborative rather than instructional. This approach builds confidence, restores momentum, and allows people to move forward without feeling challenged or diminished. I find this skill especially valuable in C-suite and L1 settings, where aligning understanding and enabling confident decision-making is critical—often without drawing attention to the fact that foundational context is being provided.
As a manager and team leader, I am an enthusiastic and deeply supportive advocate for my teams. I understand what it feels like to be highly invested and motivated, only to be let down by ineffective leadership, and I am intentional about ensuring my teams do not experience that. I foster a culture where asking questions and requesting help are encouraged, learning is framed as a positive experience, and curiosity is rewarded.
I am also a firm believer in protecting my employees and their time. I stand up for my teams, respect boundaries, and empower them to do the same—because morale, focus, and productivity thrive when people feel supported and respected.
